Oh Shelby
Christmas Time!
Yesterday Kiss gave me the best Christmas present anyone could ask for. Our very first Christmas tree as a couple. We have celebrated two Christmas' before together but at my grandparents home and at his mothers home, so we haven't had a chance to go tree hunting together and pick out our own. Yesterday kiss told me he wanted to take me somewhere and when we pulled into the tree farm I couldn't help but get emotional. When we walked around and found our full 5 ft. tree I cried again. Everything seemed so perfect. I love knowing that I have Kiss to come home to everyday especially when he knows what things mean so much to me. We spent a few hours decorating our tree, with red, green and gold ornaments and soft white lights. Kiss had an issue with the lights and which plug went where but by the end of the night we had a sparkling beautiful first Rachel and Alex Christmas tree. We have two special ornaments hanging on it, one from Jane (Kiss' mom) and an ornament Kiss got me that is beautiful. pictures below to follow. I feel so lucky to have a cute tree in our home that we get to light up every night and look at. Plus Shelby (our good doggy) loves the tree she lies down by it and stares into the lights. She is our baby and I want her to know how excited we are to share this christmas with her.

Blog for Family
I figured since Kiss and I are not going to make it to see all of our family this year for the holidays I would start a blog for the both of us so our families can keep up with what we are doing. Kiss and I are almost done with school. (thank god) we both have been in school for six years, and finally we will graduate in May. I know we couldn't be happier for what is to come but I think we are both a little scared. Time is flying by and I want our families to know all that we are doing. I am so very proud of Kiss and all of his accomplishments. He is currently working for Tesla Motors and he absolutely loves working there. He has truly shined there and he has been rewarded for it. Just this last month he was named Employee of the Month, the first at his location. I honestly couldn't be more proud of him! He has grown up so much the last 4 years. When we first met he wasn't sure what he would want to or where he was going and he has just taken everyone back with all that he has done. I know I am bragging here, but he deserves to be written about. Not only does he work extremely hard in school and at work he has put so much effort into our relationship and me. I know he is the only one that could put up with me and my craziness. Kiss has become an even more caring person than when we first met, he is always thinking of ways to put a smile on my face or make me happy, so the point is I couldn't feel any more lucky than I do.
